NEWS of 2004 11.2004 Asper introduced major upgrades for ABCR and LCA tests Asper´s genetics tests for screening of mutations in ABCR gene got updated with 34 newly discovered mutations increasing the number of mutation to be screened to 472. During the Leber congenital amaurosis test upgrade 48 new mutations were included and the total number of mutations increased to 346. Asper regularly updates it´s test with new mutations. This summer the beta-thalassemia chip was updated and includes 37 mutations. Currently p53 chip will be updated with new exons and specific regions from selected oncogenes. For
