Genesis
The Center for Medical Genetics Genesis in Poland is providing the medical genetics community with high quality comprehensive diagnostic services for patients and their families from the entire country.
The Center for Medical Genetics consists of three genetic counseling clinics – headquarters in Poznan and two subsidiaries located in Zielona Gora and Gorzow Wielkopolski.
Established in 1999, they are providing genetic counseling and a broad range of laboratory services that include cytogenetics, molecular genetics in the rapidly growing field of genetics, for more than 10 years. Together with their in-house clinical specialists in genetics, they can provide thorough testing, interpretation and guidance relevant to the patients.
The Center for Medical Genetics is the largest genetic unit in Poland. Until now, they have over 30 000 satisfied patients, and they are providing genetic counseling for more than 4 000 patients per year.
Three professors representing the Center’s scientific board are professor Anna Latos-Bielenska, professor Michał Witt and professor Maciej Krawczynski. Professor A. Latos-Bielenska, the founder of the Center is the Head of the Polish Registry of Congenital Malformations and from 2003 to 2007 Professor Latos-Bielenska was elected member of the EUROCAT Steering Committee. Professor M. Krawczynski is the only professor specialist in genetic ophthalmology in Poland.
The interdisciplinary group includes laboratory scientists, clinicians and genetic counselors. Nine doctors specialized in clinical genetics provide the genetic consultations. Therefore a comprehensive interpretation is provided by highly experienced and certified geneticists and genetic counselors.
Yasny Vzor
The Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology Clinics Yasny Vzor in Russia is specialized in diagnosing and treatment of various eye disorders of children and adolescents.
The association is headed by its founder Dr. Igor Aznauryan who has over twenty years experience in diagnostics and treatment of children’s eye problems.
Highly professional staff and modern opthalmic devices are awailable in 5 clinics located in Moscow and Kaliningrad to provide medical services to treat complex eye diseases.
