Asper Reprogenetics
Reprogenetics is a fast developing area of medical genetics. Reprogenetics uses genetic analyses to test fetal cells for specific genetic abnormalities. Microarray-based genetic tests, containing hundreds of specific genetic markers, will help to examine fetal genome.
The latest reprogenetic test developed in Asper Biotech can determine genetic abnormalities related to increased nuchal translucency. Asper Biotech in cooperation with US company Northwestern Reproductive Genetics has developed a genetic test which makes it possible to determine 265 genetic markers in 16 genes that are known to be associated with more prevalent hereditary syndromes.
